Based on the Eurostat data for how municipal waste is managed in Romania in 2011, the European Commission prepared a list of recommendations called ‘’Roadmap for Romania”. The target of reducing Romanian municipal waste to 50% by 2020 may be achieved taking the Roadmap requirements as a key for success.
